It can be difficult to find suitable dog friendly accommodation in the Cotswolds – we love having dogs to stay at the Burleigh Court Hotel and have a number of dog-friendly hotel rooms available on request. These are located in the Coach House and all have direct access to the outside for ease and comfort for your stay with us.
Our four acres of grounds and the Cotswolds countryside beyond are ideal for exploring with your four-legged friends with plenty of options for the type of day-out you would like with your family pet – for example, you can take your dog for a swim near Woodchester Mansion, explore nearby National Trust countryside, or venture out on beautiful walking routes accessible directly from the Burleigh Court.
Dog owners are welcome to dine with their dog in the dedicated smaller dining space in our restaurant. Friendly staff will ensure you and your four-legged friend are warmly welcomed.
We like to take care of our extra special guests to provide them with 4-star Cotswold accommodation, just like their owners – to ensure you experience the best dog-friendly break for the whole family. Room approx. 23 sqm / 250sqft in .

What's to do in this area?
Visiting the heart of the Cotswolds
Expect nothing short of incredible Cotswolds views over the Stroud Valley when you head off for a walk. Especially Rodborough Common and Minchinhampton Common are vast with spacious grass lands on a high plateau with stunning views.
The name Cotswolds is probably derived from two English words ‘Cots’ which means sheep enclosures and ‘Wolds’ which means gentle hills. The region’s history dates back to the Bronze and Iron Age and a lot of Roman history. From the Middle Ages onwards, the Cotswolds became wealthy from the wool trade. Wealthy merchants built many of the beautiful churches and houses still around today – one of which is Burleigh Court.
Dog friendly stays are available from £149 plus a daily £25 pet charge per room per night. The rate includes full Cotswolds breakfast and our four-legged friends will find plush dog beds, bowls & treats in the room. Woof!
